Days 30 to 21: Assess and Gather Supplies

Days 20 to 14: Make All Repairs

Days 13 to 7: Deep Cleaning Begins

Start your deep clean during the third week. Begin with the kitchen and bathroom since they take the most time. Clean the oven, fridge, cabinets, and bathroom fixtures thoroughly. Move to bedrooms and living areas. Clean baseboards, window tracks, and closets. By end of day 7, the unit should be clean except for final touch-ups.

Days 6 to 1: Final Details

As furniture leaves, clean behind and under it. Do a final carpet vacuum after the last furniture is removed. Wipe down all walls in the empty rooms. Replace any remaining burnt-out bulbs. Return all keys, remotes, and access devices. Send your move-out letter and photos on move-out day.
