Why we built it

We thought renters deserved better. Every guide here is written for someone who has never owned a tool, tested on real apartments, and honest about when a job is actually your landlord’s problem. And because the cheapest way to save money as a renter is to not lose it, we pair the repair guides with free calculators and plain-English explainers on deposits, leases, and your rights.
